NASA PAIR STUDENT South Carolina State University's Gerard Thomas receives Byrne Award and recognition as the Outstanding Male Undergraduate Science Student by the South Carolina Academy of Science

Gerard Thomas, a third year undergraduate
student in the Department of Math and Computer Science at South Carolina
State University and a member of Mr. Jafar Sadighi's PAIR Team, was
selected this past spring as the Outstanding Male Undergraduate Science
Student at the annual meeting of the South
Carolina Academy of Science. Thomas also received the Byrne Award,
sponsored by the Greater Piedmont
Chapter of the Explorers Club,
for excellence in undergraduate presentation.
