Undergraduate students from Field Station member institutions are recruited in the summer and attached to another member institution, government agency, private sector, or Savannah River Site lab for practical experience. Here each student works with a scientist who serves as a mentor for the student. The internship exposes students to complex real-life problems in agriculture and the environment.
