The one-day field education program is open to undergraduate and graduate students. Faculty from member institutions bring their students to the Savannah River Site for practical experience on the course of study at the member institution. The Savannah River Environmental Sciences Field Station staff arrange for Savannah River Site scientists whose research are in the interest of the visiting faculty to assist the faculty and his/her students in the field studies. Transportation and room are provided by the Savannah River Environmental Sciences Field Station for visiting students and faculty from member institutions only.
