STATION GRADUATE COURSES
ENVIRONMENTAL
MONITORING AND RESTORATION CERTIFICATE
(18 credits):The environmental monitoring and restoration program
is designed to train graduate students in environmental monitoring and
restoration skills. The program will offer a unique opportunity for graduates
in biology, chemistry, physics and engineering to fulfill the Environmental
Restoration needs of the Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratories
and operational sites. The program will also be open to graduates from
all Field Station member institutions. The students will be trained on
the professional skills necessary for jobs with the DOE and DOE contractors.
The program will therefore make its graduates eligible for professional
positions at the DOE, EPA and other government agencies and private organizations.
The
courses include:
