ResourcesMASC 301/ENV 301 - Analysis of Marine Pollution
This course will expose students to information on the wide variety of pollutants affecting our coastal waters and oceans. Students will gain an understanding of different types of pollution ranging from thermal inputs and riverflow alterations to nutrient enrichment and chemical contamination. Material will include analytical methods, pollution sources and their impacts upon aquatic and marine ecosystems; and methods of managing pollution.(4 credits)
