MASC 202 - Biology of Marine Fishes

This course is designed to teach students basic principles in ichthyology, fish physiological adaptations, population dynamics, utilization, and management. Students will be exposed to anatomical parameters, taxonomy, physiological ecology, population sampling, and modeling. Mathematical approaches to fisheries yield will be taught along with microcomputer simulations. (4 credits)
