This was a technical assistance workshop offered by the Office of Biomedical Research Development (OBRD) at SCSU in conjunction with the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP). Its purpose was to assist SCSU faculty and staff in improving their biomedical research, training and service proposal writing skills.

Methods and techniques for effective literature review for support of the methodology section for biomedical research, training, and service grants.

Demonstrate how to write successful biomedical research grants including rationale, methodology and highlighting preliminary studies.
3:00pm - 3:15pm

3:15pm - 5:00pm
Demonstrate how to write an effective goals and measurable objective from a biomedical research approach.
The symposium is open to all SCSU faculty and staff interested in improving their biomedical research, training and service grant writing skills.
