CNRT Faculty Presentations at MESAS

Several NASA-funded SCSU faculty members presented demostrations and hands-on activities at the October 8, 2005, meeting of the South Carolina Middle/Elementary School Academy of Science (MESAS).

Dr. Donald Walter presented "Comets Inside Out", a demonstration on how to build a comet with dry ice and footage of NASA's space mission that blasted a hole into a real comet.

Dr. Jennifer Cash gave a brief introduction to the topics of light, color and optical effects including an assortment of hands-on experiments and demostrations.

Dr. James Payne presented "Physics is PHUN," a demonstration of Fun Physics Principles that included student participation.
