MU-SPIN PIs Talk At AGU Conference

 

Dr. Linda Hayden of Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) and Dr. Donald Walter of South Carolina State University (SCSU) along with William Porter from ECSU attended the American Geophysical Union's Fall 2004 national meeting where they gave a joint presentation.

Hayden and Walter are Principal Investigators funded under the MU-SPIN Network Resource and Training Sites program (NRTS).

Their talk “Identifying an Important Source of Talented Students from Underrepresented Communities Through Effective Partnerships with Minority Serving Institutions” discuss issues related to developing successful partnerships between minority institutions and government agencies, majority universities and other institutions.
